The XWF 100 finishing system for books is the optimal solution for folding digital print products produced on an industrial scale. It gives the printer freedom of choice, great flexibility, outstanding quality and is fast enough to match many coming generations of digital print machines.

Formats for finished books
Formats for finished books range from larger than A4 to smaller than A6. Spine length can be set automatically without make-ready effort. The XWF 100 is unrivalled as the starting point for any type of finishing – perfect binding, thread sewing, saddle stitching, aziro and gluing – nothing is impossible.
Better than any alternative
It is possible to link the XWF 100 system directly to a binding line or to a stitching machine. The folding scheme is perfect for the digital environment. Folded signatures from the XWF 100 web folder are better than any alternative in respect of numerical page increments which is the key to the efficiency of pre-adjusting the downstream machines. Alternate sheets are turned over so that pages always face top side to top side and bottom side to bottom side. This ensures that book blocks lie flat (no curl) and that facing pages match in optical density. The quality gain for the reader is striking.
